I am healthy and young at heart and seeking a lifetime wife. I was recently widowed after a 49 year marriage but the death of my wife had been expected for the past year.
I tend to be traditional in many areas such as treating women with respect, holding door open for them, letting them go first, no physical violence, etc. I believe in sex only after marriage but I am not afraid to show affection in public as long as it is not of a clinging vine type. Sex should be passionate and frequent to maintain a healthy marriage but considerate for the mate when sick or exhausted.
I do believe in helping out around the house as an assistant especially when the wife is busy outside such as at work. I do believe the wife is better at organizing the household and cooking though.
I love kids but I believe they can be beasts if not civilized by their parents. Loving discipline is necessary but both parents need to agree on methods so kids see a consistent approach and disrespect to each other or to the parents should not be allowed. Some sort of capital punishment must be available so that different infractions of rules results in an appropriate level of discomfort. No physical or mental harm should result from any punishment
