Well, what can I say about myself? I can be a quiet guy, but tend to be known as a guy who is outgoing and friendly. I've been separated for some time (soon to be divorced) and I'd like to have a special someone in my life again. I'm a guy who craves someone to curl up with under a quilt on the couch late at night to watch a movie. Or to sneak away with to a restaurant or coffee shop for some pleasant conversation. Someone who is intelligent and interesting who has a few things to say. Maybe we can talk about what we're reading or what we've been seeing in films? Someone to stroll along a pleasant stream with, holding hands on a beautiful fall day while the autumn leaves fall about us. I'm passsionate about history, good films, reading, and I love to visit museums. I love to travel too, and I enjoy a nice hike in the woods. I love a good laugh, and tend to be a bit of a cut-up... just ask my friends! I love a good baseball game, and although I'm a diehard Red Sox fan (born and raised in Boston), I'm not opposed to meeting a local Yankee fan and sharing my passion for the game with her. I should say that I've lost over 50 pounds recently through more healthful eating and walking, and look forward to loosing much more. I walking and/or hiking partner would certainly be nice!
In short... I'd like to meet someone special. Friends at first, and we'll see if a fire ignites. The tinder is there, waiting. Are you the flint to strike my steel and cause the spark? I work as a park ranger for the National Park Service in Seneca Falls, so I don't work the normal Monday - Friday job, but think the time you have would be worth the while . :-)
